Who is the God of the Universe?

Did EVERYONE in the New Testament clearly proclaim WHO the God of the universe is?

 

The clear answer is YES.

all CLEARLY agreed that the God of the universe is THE FATHER:

So lets look at each of those texts.

​

THE SON OF GOD (John 17:1-3)

​

 “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, FATHER, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is LIFE ETERNAL, that they might KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

 

PAUL (1 Corinthians 8:4-6)

 “As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, WE KNOW that an idol is nothing in the world, and THAT THERE IS NONE OTHER GOD BUT ONE. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

 

JOHN (1 John 5:20)

 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are IN HIM THAT IS TRUE, even IN HIS SON Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, and eternal life.”

 

LUKE (Acts 3:13)

“The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS, hath GLORIFIED HIS SON JESUS; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.”

 

MATTHEW (Matthew 11:25)

 “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.”

 

MARK (Mark 12:28-34)

 “And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, WELL, MASTER, THOU HAST SAID THE TRUTH: FOR THERE IS ONE GOD; AND THERE IS NONE OTHER BUT HE: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when JESUS SAW THAT HE ANSWERED DISCREETLY, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.”

 

JAMES (James 3:9)

 “Therewith bless we GOD, EVEN THE FATHER; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”

 

JUDE (Jude 4)

​

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying THE ONLY LORD GOD, AND our Lord Jesus Christ.”

 

THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS (Revelation 7:9-10)

​

 “After this I beheld, and, lo, A GREAT MULTITUDE, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, SALVATION TO OUR GOD WHICH SITTETH UPON THE THRONE, AND unto the Lamb.

 

THE FATHER (Revelation 21:5-7)

“And HE THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE SAID, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I WILL BE HIS GOD, and he shall be my son.”

1 John 2:22-25

 “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is ANTICHRIST, THAT DENIETH THE FATHER AND THE SON. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall CONTINUE IN THE SON, AND IN THE FATHER. AND THIS IS THE PROMISE THAT HE HATH PROMISED US, EVEN ETERNAL LIFE.”

God the Father told us to LISTEN to Christ, BECAUSE Christ is HIS BELOVED SON.

Matthew 17:5

​

“While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased; HEAR YE HIM.”
